Introducing the Black Rainbow Movement

Black Rainbow Movement is an organization is founded to create solutions to the needs of people of color that live at the intersection of queerness and race. Black Rainbow Movement intends to engage with this community, create spaces for them to celebrate their truths and experiences, be a monument to their history, and above all let them know they matter, have a voice, and that people like them can and do make an impact. We plan on doing this by bringing art and cultural exchanges of queer POC origins to the area and contributing to their establishment and perpetuation. For example; Vogue Ballroom, POC Drag Pageants, Film & Music Festivals, and more. As well as being a hub resources for youth mentorship and development, job placement, resume building, and residential placement.
